Let’s hear it for the girls! February is a month to not only celebrate love, but to celebrate friendship too! A Galentine’s Day party at home is the perfect opportunity to indulge in sweet treats and catch up with your closest girlfriends over a glass of bubbly.
This is my first Galentine’s Day in our new home, so I was thrilled to partner with Drees Homes to host this Galentine’s Day party full of pretty pink details, a mimosa bar, and plenty of sweet treats. If you are considering hosting a Galentine’s Day party, here are a few simple entertaining tips to make your party a success.
Host the party after dinner (or between meals) so you can focus on serving sweet treats and light finger foods instead of a full meal. I picked up a strawberry cake and buttercream cookies from a local bakery that I served with a variety of valentine’s day themed candies.
Set up a drink station with a variety of mixers, fruit, sparkling wine and other non-alcoholic beverage options. This is a fun ice breaker for guests to kick off the evening by mixing up a drink to their liking, while also providing a mingling spot for guests to hang out throughout the party.
Have fun with the decorations by using themed banners, fresh grocery store flowers, creative signage, and different risers to add visual interest to your dessert display and beverage station.

The Sugar Art says
Galentine’s Day is my favorite! Last time I had a galentines party I used edible glitter from the Sugar Art on the cupcakes and they were a hit! https://www.thesugarart.com/
