With each birthday that passes by in our home, I can’t help but wonder where all the time has gone. My little slugger turned three yesterday! He is becoming a young man right before my very eyes and I’m constantly amazed not only by the new things he is learning, but by the new things he is teaching me as his mother.
His birthday party is just a few weeks away, so as you can imagine, the planning and crafting is in full swing over here! One of my son’s favorite activities right now is his t-ball class at our local YMCA. He has been telling me for weeks, if not months, that he wants a baseball party, so naturally I have decided to throw him a Vintage Baseball Party at the Y!
Although it is a traditional boy party theme, I’m putting a new spin on it with a non-traditional color pallet of hunter green, burlap and ivory paired with a funky vintage houndstooth pattern. The decor and elements are very warm, rustic and masculine. I’m working with so many fabulously creative vendors to help make this day extra special for my son, including Kathryn Poole Photography, Divine Cakes, Inc., Say It With Heart, Frog Prince Cake and Cookie Design, Peckled, Cuddleboo The Cupcake Social and more!
I’m so excited to see everything come together. For now, I wanted to share a sneak peek of the invite. Stay tuned, there will be much more to come in the next few weeks!
