Classic cocktails, such as a French 75, are making a big comeback lately! I love to kick off my parties by serving a signature cocktail as guests walk in the door and think it is an effortless way to add a touch of sophistication to a party. A classic cocktail seemed like the perfect fit for this party theme, so I served a French 75 in a gold rimmed coupe glass with a rosemary garnish.
This cocktail recipe is simple to pull together with just a few ingredients, and is sure to wow your guests. Keep reading for the recipe!
Ingredients
- 3 oz champagne
- 1 ½ oz gin
- ½ oz lemon juice
- Simple syrup
- Garnished with fresh thyme
Directions:
Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Shake gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker until well chilled, about 15 seconds. Strain into a coupe glass. Top with champagne and stir gently. Garnish with a fresh sprig of rosemary for a festive vibe.
