When I first saw this party, I absolutely fell in love with the handmade, whimsical details. My lifelong friend and cousin Jaclyn Peck of Peckled.com threw an adorable and eclectic Tea Party to celebrate her daughter Elsie’s 3rd birthday. The party is packed with tons of inspirational ideas and little details so I couldn’t wait to feature it here on One Stylish Party.
I am completely smitten with the sweet (and totally edible) teacup cake and the mis-matched paper rosette garlands that really brought the Tea Party to life. And the best news is, One Stylish Party is not only featuring the party, but Jaclyn has agreed to guest post next week with a full tutorial on how to make a paper rosette garland {not sure about you, but I am totally excited about this!!}
Without further ado, here are the details of the party as told by Jaclyn.
Unbelievable. My Lil E’Boo has turned three. She protests letting me call her “baby” with “No Mommy I’m a BIG GIRL!” and I know, day by day, that is more and more true.
This is the first year she’s really understood that her birthday was on the way and boy was she excited! One of our favorite things to play right now is “tea party” so I thought it would be a perfect theme for her 3rd birthday party.
Her favorite part of the party (mine too actually) was the TOTALLY edible tiered teacup cake by Sweet Creations! Not only does it look fabulous, you wouldn’t believe how wonderful it tastes! Even the teacup was edible – and I won’t tell you who ate the whole thing!
The birthday girl and I spent the week leading up to her party making paper rosette garlands. She loves to “help” me fold the paper – and I simply love the look of paper rosettes! I used mason jar lids for the centers and created stickers with themed graphics, added letters, and wrapped the lids in ribbon. I love how they turned out! (Stay tuned, I’ll be sharing the tutorial right here on One Stylish next week!)
Miss Lil E’Boo loved her party and is still talking about. I’m simply stunned that my baby girl is a whopping three years old. Oh how time flies when you’re having fun!
