It has been an exciting few weeks at One Stylish Party! My shop is busier than ever (thank you to my amazing customers!) and I have been planning / crafting / glittering everything in sight for a Glam Vintage Train Party and Photoshoot! It’s not so often that I get to work on a party that is geared towards little girls, so I couldn’t help but go a little overboard with this party theme! My best friend’s adorable little girl, Alexis, was the inspiration for the entire party. Her two favorite toys at the moment are her choo choo trains and her tea set, so we came up with the idea to combine them together to create a glam train themed 2nd birthday party.
I’m a huge fan of modern girly parties that have a theme more commonly associated with boys, so you can imagine my excitement when trusted me 100% with my vision. When you think of a train party for a 2 year old child, my guess is that light pink, aqua and gold glitter is not the first color scheme that comes to mind! Well, when I began planning this party, my goal was to change that mindset all together!
I started by putting together an inspiration board with some key elements I knew I wanted to include, such as a pink ruffled cake, custom wooden train, glittered cake pops, tassel garlands, confetti balloons and train themed graphics to tie all of the party elements together. I can honesty say that the end result came out better than I ever could have imagined!
I had the opportunity to work with some fabulous vendors that helped bring my vision to life (who will be individually highlighted more in the upcoming weeks), but in the meantime I wanted to to share the full list of party vendors to give you an idea of some of the details that were included in the party.
