This no-bake holiday dessert has such a WOW factor and is incredibly easy to make! You only need three items and about a half hour to create this donut Christmas tree. I also love that it doubles as decor if you are hosting or attending a party this holiday season.
You will need:
150 powdered munchkins. I pre-ordered mine from Dunkin’ Donuts to make sure they would have the quantity I needed. (Fun fact – did you know you get 10% off when pre-ordering your donuts at Dunki’n Donuts?!)
18″ Styrofoam cone. I purchased mine at Michaels and used a 40% off coupon so I think it came out to around $5.
Toothpicks.Directions:
Start by pressing the first toothpick in the Styrofoam cone along the bottom. Leave about a half inch sticking out so you can attach a munchkin donut to it.
Repeat this step to create a row of munchkins along the bottom of the Styrofoam cone. Next, stagger the donuts to create a second row of donuts on the cone, each one slightly touching the one next to it.
Continue using the toothpicks and donuts to create rows of donuts until you reach the top of the cone. Feel free to embellish the top of the donut Christmas tree with a bow attached to a toothpick.I hope you enjoyed this simple holiday dessert tutorial. What is your go-to dessert you like to make during the holiday season?
