If you are a parent like me, you are probably familiar with spending much of November and December searching for cute, on-trend outfits for your children to wear to the many functions, parties and photos that you take during the holiday season . Today, I wanted to share some holiday outfit ideas for kids with you and provide the resources and links to where I sourced the outfits worn by the children in our Vintage Camper Christmas Party.Although the party details were rustic and woodsy, I wanted the little girls who were attending the party to feel like a princess for the day. I turned to Rainey’s Closet to source the girls’ outfits and accessories. Rainey’s Closet offers special occasion rentals for children and gives you access to limited run boutique clothing, hard to find styles and made to match accessories. Seriously guys, this is a one-stop-shop for anything and everything you could possibly need to pull together an amazing and unforgettable outfit for your little one.
There were so many outfits to choose from that the hardest part was narrowing it down! With Trinity’s input, we selected the Tutu du Monde Swan Queen Tutu, paired with Joyfolie Alexa Faux Fur Coat and a Halo Luxe Peacock Pouf Headband for her to wear. The second little girl, Riley, wore the Nellystella Alice Dress paired with a Tutu Du Monde Gala Shrug.Once the girls’ outfits were set, I moved on to outfit planning for the boys. I relied on a brand that I have known and loved for years, The Children’s Place. While The Children’s Place is my go-to-source for basic wardrobe items and back-to-school shopping for my two sons, I was honestly amazed at their++ expansive collection of clothing geared towards special events and holidays.
For the Vintage Camper Christmas Party, one of the boys wore a black plaid shirt layered under a gray long sleeve v-neck sweater. And the other little boy wore a striped oxford shirt (similar to this) paired with a herringbone dressy vest.I absolutely love how the outfits for the kids came together for this shoot. The outfits all complimented each other, yet stood out on their own, allowing each child to express their individual style and personality. I hope you find these resources and links helpful while holiday outfit shopping for your children!
